isteddfod is an ancient Welsh festival usually held in late summer (August). The festival featured storytelling, music making, feasting, and merrimaking. The greatest storytellers in the land competed to receive the blue knotted ribbon, which signified that the they had been chosen the fesitival's new bard, and now joined the ranks of the honored of Wales, forever to be recognized as storyteller par excellance. Here you will find bards, storytellers, gypsies and minstrels, magicians and tricksters, Lords and Ladies, Knights and Nobles, and the commonest of men. As with most festivals and faires, you may find anything here. It is a place for fun, amusement, merrimaking and enjoyment, for humor and irreverance; and above all, a place where you can find those off-the-wall sites that are fun just because they are fun. So leave your worries behind and take a break from your serious exploration of history. Good morrow and welcome to the fesitival and our faire..............
