t has been very hard to determine which events in this century are important. Many stand out, yet others are just as important but are more subtle in their impact. This was probably the hardest room in the Castle to finish. Being still extant, it is hard to judge what is and isn't important and historically significant. From the vantage point of the current, we can look back on past centuries, with the knowledge we have now, and judge what was significant. But when you are trying to decide about the present, that is not such an easy task. Yes, there are some definitely and easily recognizable "historical" periods. Also, this is the one time period in history in which I have found the resources available are decidedly lacking. There are other areas that will have to be judged by other people in other times than our own to determine their relevance to the history of mankind. I have tried to include as many areas as I could. I apologize for any omissions and again, as with the History of Aviation, the wars of the world are not dealt with here but elsewhere in the Castle. We have reached the present in our journey. Where we will go from here, or what the future will hold, this we can only dream of...............
